Washford Memorial Hall Committee have just completed enhancements to make the hall a warmer place for future functions.

The latest phase for improvements has been insulated ceilings throughout the whole building as well as energy efficient lighting.

This project has been paid for by developers Section 106 contributions for Washford.  Other recent improvements have included new toilets, a new kitchen and redecoration throughout.

Due to these improvements new bookings are beginning to come through with a new keep fit class now taking place on Monday evenings as well as regular users on Sundays.

The next phase of improvements will involve improving the heating system in the halls.

Anyone wishing to help raise funds or make a donation for the new heating system, should make cheques payable to Washford Memorial Fund and send them to:  Washford Memorial Fund, c/o Dan Searle, Ashcroft, Washford, TA23 0NY.  Those wishing to book either the main hall or the annex for functions, please telephone:  0758 064 2341.
