This publication class contains current written protocols, policies and procedures for delivering our services and responsibilities.

Policies and procedures for conducting council business

Codes of practice, memoranda of understanding, procedural standing orders, internal guidance about the division of responsibilities between committees and delegated authority, policies on communications between Councillors and members of staff and related information are available in the Council's Constitution.

Policies and procedures for delivering our services

This includes Service Plans, policies and procedures for handling information requests.

Policies and procedures about the recruitment and employment of staff

Job vacancies within the Authority and policies relating to the employment and well being of staff, including Equality and Diversity, and Health and Safety.

Customer service

Standards for providing services to the council's customers, and information about the Council's procedure for making comments, compliments or complaints.

Records management and personal data policies

This includes information security policies, records management, information sharing and data protection policies.

Charging regimes and policies

Where relevant, details of statutory charging regimes are provided. This includes charges made for information routinely published, clearly stating what costs are to be recovered, the basis on which they are made, and how they are calculated.
