Employment and Skills Charter

When business development and economic regeneration is inclusive of surrounding communities it improves social inclusion. West Somerset Council encourages all new major employers to sign up to the Employment and Skills Charter and pledge to agree, wherever possible, to recruit local people for local jobs and apprenticeship opportunities. The charter can also support employers by matching skills and training to job requirements and availability.

Details of the Charter can be found on Economic Strategies.
